11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observers sighted several bright red lights that went in a southerly direction. No noise was heard.

COMMENTS: There was a satellite decay on this date at 1200 hrs plus or minus 12 hours, object #24M1L It is possible that this object or some other piece of uncataloged debris decayed on this date Much more likely is the possibility that the sighting was of an aircraft A news paper account of the sighting stated that Saratoga Springs Radar station reported that they had not tracked anything unidentified on their radar Photos did not have sufficient clarity to enable any type of identification The original negs were requested but never received.
