PROJECT KENS RECORD
BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Coaster reported a glowing white object traveling toward the northern horizon. The object was visible for approximately 10 minutes before slowly disappearing in the north. The FAA requested a visual fix to monitor this UFO accomplished with range and height finder radar, the team then reverted back to standard operation and did not track the object.
CONCLUSIONS: There seems to be no reason why the observation could not have been of a small aircraft with its landing lights on A small plane on VFR would not have had to have filed flight plans with the FAA and would explain why the FAA had no record of this flight Under normal operations there is no procedure to track objects going slower than 160 knots and since Coaster's organization was not involved in reporting to standard operations
