BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Observer watched a round shaped object move toward the north. Another object was observed in the eastern sky. The object in the east appeared to be getting larger before disappearing. Three different objects were seen during two minute periods. A red light was connected with the objects.
At 03/0230Z the 97th BW executed an exercise during which 25 aircraft departed the base in two waves during a period of four hours. At 0215Z aircraft began to take off followed by the remaining aircraft in the waves at approximately one minute intervals.
It appears that the witness did observe one or several of the aircraft participating in the exercise.
