Observer watched a circular shaped yellow-orange colored object in the western sky that was stationary The object looked like it was approaching the observer The weather was clear and the witnesses were using binoculars There was a flashing light on one side of the object.

The description is consistent with that of an astronomical observation Venus was setting just after the observation and at the time of this sighting Venus was on an azimuth of 255 degrees at an elevation of 15 degrees.
