BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: Observers watched a bright white light coming towards them. The object gradually turned toward the eastern horizon. The object came from the north and as it turned to the east it appeared to getting lower in the sky. The description is consistent with that of an aircraft observation. An aircraft approaching Detroit with bright landing lights could account for the sighting.
