The reflection of the sun off the object was what first called the attention of the observer. The object flew along the side of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge across the river past Beacon, New York.
Observer has very poor eyesight, but wears glasses and still had to use a magnifying glass to read small print. She did not have her glasses when she made observation. Final approach to runway :? at about .? msl parallel to the bridge. In addition, numerous VFR traffic uses the bridge as a check point. Toll takers who were on duty during the observation were questioned. They said that there was very heavy air traffic at one time but nothing unusual.
