CONCLUSION Possible (AIRCRAFT) [HW:]
BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer watched star like object that appeared to hover for short time before suddenly disappearing behind a tree which blocked the observer's view. The object was white in color and compared to a star but it has not twinkling. The object gave off a steady light. It blinked on and off a few times while it stopped, then immediately began blinking again. A B-52 aircraft landed at 0505 EST at Patterson Field. Normally these aircraft make several low level approaches prior to actual landing. It is possible that the witness observed this particular aircraft making one of its low level runs before it actually landed at 0505 EST.
