Arcturus was at 15 degree elevation and on an azimuth of approximately 283 degrees.
11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS
Observers noted a flashing red and blue-green light in the western sky It was just a large flashing object that did not move The observers watched the flashing light for about 15 minutes then left the area When they turned about 30 minutes later they could not see the object.
Arcturus was setting at approximately 2230 CST The second time the observers looked for the object was approximately 2145 CST and at this time Arcturus was at an elevation of approximately 6 degrees.
