10. CONCLUSION Satellite(Echo I) At the time of the sighting Echo I was passing over central New York on a N-S heading.
11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer watched an object of the first or second magnitude passing from NW to ENE over Syosset, New York. It was a few minutes after sunset and the object traveled across the sky in about 30 minutes. The witness even said that it could have been a satellite.
The description is consistent with that of an satellite observation. Echo I was in the area at the time of the sighting.
