11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Observer reported seeing a cigar shaped, bright silvery colored object travel toward the SE before disappearing into the horizon The object appeared from nowhere above and ahead of the observer's vehicle He first thought it was being built by a private balloon but suddenly realized that this was not so The object flew on a low-level course making no sound at all during the duration of the sighting The underneath top or end of the object was not observed The description is consistent in some ways with that of a balloon observation; however contact with Dayton Balloon Launch could not account for any balloons of theirs in the area.
