BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Object was described as a very bright light, twice as bright as a street lamp Light was so bright that it was hard to make out any shape other than circular Witness stated that it rose vertically and then moved at a rate of speed that was fantastic However he also stated that he observed the object for almost two hours and it was sighted in the east direction Rotation of object could have been due to the motion of the automobile in which he was traveling Photos taken produced no image VENUS was at an azimuth of 120 deg and an elevation of 10-15 deg with a mag of -4,1 at the time of the sighting Considering the information available the alleged sighting was possibility the observation of VENUS.
