ECHO II was in area at time of sighting; however, observer did not report seeing satellite. Possible that observer is slightly off in direction. Observer felt that object was satellite.
11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS: White light, like a star, horizontal flight across sky, moving SE to NW. Observer felt it was a satellite. Characteristic of a satellite except for direction. Possible error on direction. ECHO II was over New York at 8:12 PM EST (07/01132) North of city 44 deg above the horizon moving NE.
