Officials at Allegheny observatory regarded the object as meteor. Concur with this evaluation.
11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Group of three objects described as rolled ball of fire. Shiny hot white-orange color. Trail consisted of blue or green edges and was 2-3 times larger than ball of fire. Speed faster than known jet a/c. Observed in SE at cloud level. Flight to NE disappearing upon entering clouds.
