11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS See case file: Sgt Moody and Sgt Jones investigation (Field). Color, shimmering effect in accord with observation of Jupiter. Mrs [REDACTED] looking at a/c departing to 3E called Mrs [REDACTED] to observe object over her barn (3E). Mrs [REDACTED] did not observe an object (Looking in the wrong direction). Object was not under continuous observation. Observation was the setting and refraction of Jupiter. Inversion in the area at 5,000 and 15,000 ft.

COMMENTS: Consultation with Dr Hynsek lead to conclusion that there was sufficient evidence to evaluate the case as the setting of Jupiter and an a/c observation. The 60 deg elevation and reflection in the lake are inconsistent. The object necessarily having to be at a low angle of elevation in order to reflect from the lake. The observations of color, shimmering effect and brightness are consistent with this analysis. Jupiter setting coincides with the disappearance of the first object.
