11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Aurora of [ILLEGIBLE] that lit up cockpit, no object observed. Object reported as red (unusual to be at the coast of California). Object was seen for seconds before de-activation, brightened briefly itself, after [ILLEGIBLE] seconds, it was gone. No reports of other objects in vicinity or other electronic emissions in a/c. Several other reports of similar sightings from the initial Columbia trip. Observed lighting with radar deflection.
