11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Triangular shaped object, no sound trail exhaust or unusual features. Color white light with an orange light on left base and white light on right base to form triangle. Initial observation at 45 deg in South. Final observation at sea level 350 deg azimuth. Flight inclined due to sound than usual. Discussion: It travelled away from observers due to limited visibility. Total duration 20 minutes. WX was snow, 1 mile visibility, low ceiling, strong winds from the NW. Observed by 5 high school students while sledding. Nearest approach 3/4 mile to observers. Close to water but not in contact with water. Object above St James River.
COMMENTS: Investigating official feels likely cause boat on St James River. Lights from boat North of River draw-bridge. No boats passed through heading North however possibility of boat passing south of bridge a cause of this sighting.
