11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Elliptical bluish white object appeared as a steady light, no flashing with contrail covering 50 miles. Trail similar to wake of boat. Traced at 30 deg elevation in SW quadrant moving NW, observed for 3 minutes, gradually fading. Sighting at dawn, also reported by civilians at Arcata, California and Klamath AFS, California. Object to South moving to 250 deg azimuth and fading at 30 deg elevation.

[HW:] NOTES: Object moving out toward Pacific Ocean One observation low rising Kid report indicated constant altitude and reported to by runway officer at Air Station who should be familiar with A/O controls Description in accord with missile controls No known test activity in area however several sites located to south could have launch activities.
