11. BRIEF SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS Bright white streak or trail of white heat growing brighter as object descended. Initial observation in East at 60 deg elevation. Disappeared instantly. 2nd report. Object described as a blue blaze with a blue trail visible for one minute. Two sightings. Object observed after initial object disappeared in North, other in North from SE to NW. Both disappeared instantly. Straight flight. 3rd report: Ball shaped blue object appearing as fireworks. White smoke trail. Moving from East to West in arc climbing and then descending.

CONCLUSION: Probable meteor observation. Sheriff's report indicated a two second observation. Other witnesses probably overestimated the duration; case considered as one object observed by three observers. 2nd report includes additional meteor observation prior to the second meteor.
