Astronomical (VENUS) Object appearing like a flood light with erratic motion observed in the East at about 25 deg elevation for over 45 minutes. Color white with changes to red occasionally. Small, Estimated to be 2 miles away. Observed from moving 30 miles per hour. Object separated and smaller object appeared over the main object also observed by about 17 other witnesses.
