BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: Extremely bright blue object falling to earth SW of Sacramento, Undetermined distance. Object emitted bright blue light. Initial observation at 60 deg elevation. Disappeared at 10 deg above horizon after falling at what appeared to be a 30 deg descent. Date of sighting not included.
COMMENTS: No satellite decays this date and the fall as well as direction does not conform with this analysis. Duration excessive for the usual Meteor observation. Sounds like a Flare of some sort. Data limited and no investigation made. Case carried as insufficient data.
