10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Round obj size and brightness of 1st mag star Red with apparent luminous vapor swirling about obj. Vapor 20X size of obj. Attention attracted by brightness of light in upper-near horizon. Each Obj passed overhead on course of 270 deg. Appeared to fall into clouds and did not reappear. In sight for 4 minute.s TX50 & (TX54 BX used). Initial impression was of s/e in trouble. Radar and radio contact with obj failed. Obj believed to be missile. Due to shock wave pattern of vapor.

11. COMMENTS Description conforms with analysis of missile. Launch probably from Vandenburg or Pt Mugu. Sighting in area over which missiles would take on flight to target area near Philippines.
