10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Report of hole about 6 inches in diameter going straight down (vertical) for about 13 ft. Assumed to have been created by impact of an object from the sky on the night of 4 September 1963 by the owner of the property.
11. COMMENTS Army demolition team dug hole to attempt recovery of object. Hole ended at 13 ft level. Water level reached at 14 ft. Hole assumed to have been drilled by auger. This was indicated by marks on a rock at the side of the hole. Apparently no attempt at a hoax.
