10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Flight in Western sky shaped like a drop of water tilted at 30 deg angle. Obj at 40 deg elevation in flight descending went behind cloud and reappeared below. Appeared to be about 4X as bright as brightest star. White color with no reflection from obj. Finally moved off to the West against the wind. Gained speed and disappeared in the distance. Total observation eight min. At no time were any metallic or other surfaces that could indicate a/c characteristics.
11. COMMENTS Flight duration, action consistent with analysis as a/c. Sighting toward West. Sunset at 1907 (Chicago gains 33 min making sunset at 1945). Sighting at sunset toward sun adding to the probable misinterpretation of a conventional obj.
