10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Firey or steady burning object, generally bluish green turning to white before fading observed to appear to separate into two pieces. No tail or trail. At separation sound heard. Generally SW to NE flight. Brightness and slowness characterised flight, with duration 5 sec to 1 min. Sighting both ground and air visual. One sighting believed object to be meteorite and helo search made over area where impact appeared to be indicated. Search extended to 4 hrs without result.

11. COMMENTS Sighting characteristic of Satellite decay. Demise of Vostok rocket body occurred on 16 June. Case evaluated as decay of this object (Vostok rocket body).

CONCLUSIONS: Was Balloon Probably Balloon Possibly Balloon Was Aircraft Possibly Aircraft Possibly Aircraft Was Astronomical Possibly Astronomical Possibly Astronomical On Satelite Decay Unknown
