10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Elliptical glowing light at 30 deg. elevation WSW observed in cloudless part of sky thru 7 X 50 BX. Cloudlike trail coming from sides or bottom. As sight for 12-15 minutes fading with the general approach of the Sun. Approaching the atmospheres, less bright than Sirius, Mass had 2-4 lights. Size about 1 deg of arc. Disappeared by fading.
11. COMMENTS Principal witness contacted by L/C Friend on telephone. Positive identification of object not possible; however, belief is that objects were UFOs. No information obtained that would conflict with a/c analysis. No reason to believe that this was other than normal a/c misinterpretation.
