10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING High-flying very bright object in flight from NE to SW. Object generated own light as a star, Moon not up. Sky clear & dark. As obj crossed sky flight included abrupt changes in direction assumed to be too quick for a/c. As obj approached horizon in the SW it reversed course and eventually disappeared after flying back overhead. No sound.

11. COMMENTS Additional data requested. Maneuvers confused in report. Data contained inconsistencies. No data in report of a factual nature to indicate that this was other than misinterpretation of a/c. Only data conflicting with this analysis is the opinion of the principal witness that changes in direction were too abrupt for a/c. Case evaluated as a/c.
