10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Object believed to be a meteorite found on ground by campers. Stated that object was not in location before retiring. Obj present in the morning. Object assumed to fall with considerable force because of indentation in ground. Assumed to be hot since charred pieces that were 1/2 in long, 2 1/4 in wide and 1/2 in thick. 11. COMMENTS Sample submitted to ASD for analysis. Obj assigned number A-174. Report indicated that object was terrestrial in origin & common to area. Cinder type rock with high carbon content.
