10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING "Wal objt like football both ends pointed, reddish orange, No sound or heat." Changed over and intensity as through glass, "Wal objt" flew through un observation. "Wal objt" showed increasing in size disappearing as "Wal objt" headed NE flight straight toward NE. Light disappeared while object in view. Sighting at dusk. Witness positive no a/o.

11. COMMENTS Echo was Visible fm Baltimore on night of 2 July at 913 pm EWT 18 min after reported sighting. Echo was at 25° above S of city heading NE sighting was NEK but following the direction would appear the light and would also appear as balloon went into earth's shadow. Case evaluated as Echo I.
