10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: A red star like obj was observed West of Columbus, Ga at approx 1950 hrs & viewed for approx 1 hr & 10 mins. The obj was viewed w/7x50 binoculars. The color of the obj was rptd to be silver & there was no apparent motion.

Comments: The bbj of this sighting was probably the planet Venus. Venus was at an azimuth of 275deg & an elev of 28deg at the hr of the sighting. The object was not seen on the date -34. The planet did not set at this location until 2225.
