10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: A number of witnesses in SW corner of O., viewed an object moving E-W at great speed. Object was vari-colored, red-blue-green, but more blue-green. Several witnesses reported seeing one object moving faster and moving together. Object reported very bright (brighter than brightest star.) Witnesses not sure of size. Reporting generally that it was big. Object disappeared by dimming and going out like fire. Object described as 5 times as big, like atoms & diamonds formed. One witness reported round with object.
11. COMMENTS: Object possesses all characteristics of classic fireball (meteor). Duration, color and great speed. Object was traveling in the opposite direction from Earth's satellite (artificial) family. Sightings did not possess any characteristics indicating that it was a potential threat to national security. Sighting contained no evidence indicating object was not a fireball.
