10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING [HW: REPORT] The [HW: object] was a red dot or glow on high horizon followed by ball of light [HW: above] (horizon). Red dot with horizontal [HW: movement] while ball became elongated and disappearing, brightening in [ILLEGIBLE] over a min, weather high overcast but clear in quadrant where object sighted.

11. COMMENTS [STAMP: ] The probably is about Venus because of misidentification was probably fact that planet was distorted and discolored due to atmospheric refraction. Fact that planet was in same direction reported by witness and witness stated that characteristic associated of refraction bonds to substantiate this conclusion disappearance was due to setting of planet.
