COURSE: Southwesterly

BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: Round silver objt like satellite observed in straight flight path disappeared to s after 7 min observation. Temperature inversion in area.

COMMENTS: Speed and appearance indicate satellite track; however, this not confirmed. Southwesterly tracking alone does not rule out satellite and all other indications point to satellite observation. Case listed as observation of Echo I.
