10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING [REDACTED] bright white, circular objt, size of pea. Objt had 2 bright lights close together. Source match characteristics and lighting similar to those of falling star. Objt lighter 10-20 miles SE of observer's position. Disappeared on horizon. Had arcing flight path. Upon impact at horizon generated bright orange glow for 5 sec.
11. COMMENTS Objt was possibly reentry of '61 Beta 3 or rocket body of Transit I. It is also possible that it was a meteor. The object's size is not known when the artificial bodies reentered; a valid conclusion cannot be made as to nature of objt. Due to absence of other witnesses, this report is categorized as Insufficient Data.
