BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING White circular object. Attracted attention of observer because of brightness. Appeared on horizon in NW and disappeared below horizon after 15-20 min. Moved N and S. Multiple reports in general area.

COMMENTS Object was probably Planet Venus. Time of sighting was in direction of Venus. Venus had mag of -4.3. Atmospheric refraction probably caused distortion and gave apparent motion to obj. Sightings coincided with setting of planet.
