10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: Yellowish white object with short flaming tail. Approx size of large pea held at arm's length. Described as being in level flight. Angle of elevation was approx 20°. While flying on an aprox 360° heading the object passed more slowly than a normal shooting star from 10° position to 25° position in apparent level flight. During observation aprox 6 large pieces appeared to break off.

11. COMMENTS: Witness reports object was meteor-like. It is concluded that the witness saw a slow meteor and that because this was his first such experience he immediately discounted the meteor possibility.
