BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Spherical object size of pea, bright red, tail streaming behind diminishing in brightness, length about width of silver dollar, No sound heard, Elevation 50° bearing 357° to elevation 20° about same bearing, Fell straight down, appeared to breakup and extinguish rapidly, Sighting from sea level.

11. COMMENTS This object has all of the characteristics of a meteor of the "fireball" class. There is no available evidence which indicates that this object was not such a meteor. It is concluded that the object was a meteor of the fireball class. NOTE: Zeta II came down on this date but no data is available as to where or when (time) this occurred.
