10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Object described as a cloud, white trail and as balloon shaped. Was reported to have appeared in western sky at time of setting sun. Object was colored pink as well as brilliant white. Just before it disappeared a small bright white light was observed near it.

11. CONCLUSIONS Was Balloon [STAMP:] Possibly Balloon [STAMP:] Possibly Aircraft [STAMP:]

Object probably a combination trail left by hot air balloon of which was illuminated by setting sun causing pink coloration. The bright planet Venus probably became evident (mag -3,4) as the sun went further down and the witness associated it with the trail. Changing shape of contrail was due to changes in the wind. Venus disappeared due to setting.
