Witnesses stated that there was some evening twilight in the western sky and a slight haze makes this to be true. Any object seen in the western sky at a distance of several miles would reflect the sun's rays; if it were a light colored object, since no records are kept of A/C flying VFR, it is possible that object observed was an A/C reflecting the sun's rays.
