10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Ball of fire was seen at same altitude as a/c. It appeared to be size of a soft ball - much larger than the ordinary meteor. There was a long glowing tail made up primarily of particles breaking off the main body.

11. COMMENTS Description is characteristic of a type or meteor called a bolide.
