CONCLUSIONS: Was Balloon Probably Balloon Possibly Balloon Was Aircraft Probably Aircraft Possibly Aircraft

BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: [REDACTED] times the diameter of an average star and much brighter, extremely bright yellowish cast. The intensity diminished during a five second interval to the brightness of a normal star. A few seconds later the object disappeared completely.

COMMENTS: Probably the star Pomalhank which was in the position reported for the object. Possibly viewed with atmospheric refraction causing undue brightness.
