10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING T-33 pilot sighted bright object straight ahead at 30° elev that disappeared to left rear 65° and 15° elev. A/c was heading 275° T. Light intensity of object was similar to that of an arc light. Tail of Object was estimated to be 9 inches long on the surface of the canopy.

11. COMMENTS Witness did not report the duration of the sighting or the time, however it was a case of short duration and at night. Description conforms to observation of a fireball type meteor. There is no information conflicting with this conclusion. Case listed as meteor.
