10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Two witnesses observed object at about 20° above western horizon. Object, when traveling parallel with horizon, appeared oblong. However, when traveling perpendicular to horizon, it appeared U-shaped. When first observed, it was going N; made complete turn and headed south for approx 4 min; turned again and headed N; disappeared shortly thereafter. Appeared silver; did not shine; appeared soft or glowing. Did not resemble a/c; Had no wings; Left no contrails.
11. COMMENTS Available information indicates witnesses probably saw reflection of sunlight off on a/c Past that the witnesses live near an airport does not mean they cannot misidentify a high-flying a/c with sun-light reflecting from it.
