10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Round and oblong, size of pea, red in color. Sighted 20° elev., approaching from 360°. Disappeared at elev., about 180°. Traveled SSE at high speed. Faded out of view to the S. Also described as round, size of a dime. Glowed and faded out to S. Appeared at 20° elev., 360° az., and disappeared at 20° elev., 190° az. Level flight.

11. COMMENTS Duration is characteristic of a meteor. There were two objects observed, indicating that the witness observed a meteor as it began its breakup. The meteor was apparently a large one as it traversed most of the visible sky before it disappeared.
