10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Glass plate fell in the sky & landed on the roof of a house at the feet of observer. Size of the glass was 53X107 MM, red tinted. Surface was smooth w/four ground lines intersecting each other to form an 8 pointed star. The edges of the glass appeared carbonized as if subjected to extreme heat.
11. COMMENTS This obj was identified as coming from a mosaic window. The burned areas on the glass resulted from burns when glass was installed in the window. From this, one reason why overheating this type of glass was w/lead.
