BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Non-operational controls first sighted by pilot heading North a few mins later Obj followed B-52 at 8,000' to 15,000' for the better part of an hr F-84N fighter scrambled to identify obj Obj changed course & speed began to climb away in F-84 which could not close on obj.

11. CONCLUSIONS -F-83 got approx 20 Mi of obj pilot said sighting red & green blinking running lights & a steady white light assumed to be a tail light The arrangement of the lights indicated to pilot of F-83 that the obj was of delta or swept wing type.
