10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING White cardboard box 7"x16"x7" lined w/white porous plastic. Two dry cell batteries & a series of chemical batteries used for power. Two tubes in one end which lit up every two minutes. The frequency ranged to be between 1700 & 2000 Hz. Box was attached to a balloon approx 25 to 30 ft in diameter.
11. COMMENTS The equipment was found to be that used by an unclassified project which is sent up attached to a balloon for tracking missiles by acoustic method.
