10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Mr. [REDACTED] contacted by a man who gave him a specimen of an object that came out of the sky with a roar and fell sizeable into nearby creek. He broke off a small fragment within 15 minutes. Told Mr. it was a meteor & the govt would analyze it, and contact him for the rest of the meteorite which was about 30 lb in weight. See? COMMENTS Analysis showed object iron pyrite crystals, Residual limonite indicates it was in the water or for some time, It never fell out of the sky, No scorching burning or galling Crystals are sharp & square Aerodynamic heating & melting would have rounded these off Verbal rpt given to Mr. Stat Services Division Specimen in Specimen files
