11. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Object same shape and size of Sputnik I which was also sighted. Object disappeared to northeast. It was an identical blinking, fast-moving counter- part to the Sputnik. Observed in conjunction with Sputnik & rocket booster. Second object moving West to East.

12. COMMENTS It is believed this object was a high-flying jet a/c. However, further checks are being made.
