10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING One very large Object observed as a reflection on Columbia River described as being the size of a clock, elongated and circular, with lights on side. The object was big enough to look like a hotel when lights went on. The object was hovering and pulsating. Faded into the West.

12 CONCLUSIONS AND Balloon Possibly Balloon Was Aircraft Possibly Aircraft Was Astronomical Possibly Astronomical Other Reflection Insufficient Data for Evaluation Unknown WX completely overcast at 1500h Atic forms 164 were sent to the observers on 12 Jan 56. From the data contained in the preliminary report it appears that this sighting was possibly generated by river traffic (boat or boats) on the Columbia River.
