BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Pilot of AF 783 a T-23 Westover to Harmon rptd., fol., incdt., to Chatham ROAP sta., Pos., rpt.: HKLB 5505 at 08022 obs., a large round mass flashing white and blue light dgs., to the right of his A/C and 2 dgs, above the horizon. It appeared to be reflecting light and to be similarto a mass of burning gasses. It was not the sun or an A/C. He estimated the object to be 15 miles in his o'clock pos., but failed to gain on it. at 0806Z it was dgs. above the horizon and at 0812Z it was dgs. above the horizon. As 0832Z, Pilot was appx ATIC FORM [REDACTED] (REV: [REDACTED])
11. COMMENTS Lt. David Cleveland, Senior Controller passed the information to Captain Harris at Headquarters, 32nd Air Division.
